Each player has a hidden objective (read in a mini deck of cards) that must achieve: "Lose the quest/help in 3 situations/spend 1 coin or less/etc.".
At the same time it shouldn't be to obvious to avoid suspicion, and all should play along the quest trying to fulfill their secret agenda while boicotting others.
All quest decisions are made democratically by all players (2 to 7), which are represented by keys themselves (1 keyboard key per player). On a tie, a random choice is taken (which could be dangerous).
At the end of the quest, the winning roles are shown and each winner should show the card (or cards if playing for multiple roles) to prove their success.
It's a spin-off/branch of another project made in this site for this jam ("And now?").
The game isn't complete, and could be better implemented as a full fledged card game, with maybe some device for timing.
Flash game, play it as such.
The secret role cards should be printed/written and as follows:
SUICIDAL ROLE: die before ending the quest
PSYCHOPATH ROLE: kill 4 times
WUSS ROLE: escape 3 times
GREEDY ROLE: collect 5 coins
GOOD GUY ROLE: help 3 times
CHEAP ROLE: don't spend more than 1 coin in all quest
HEALTHY ROLE: reach 5 hearts (health) at some point
