SpaceBase Saboteur: The Candyman Saga

A game about sabotage. SpaceBase Saboteur (SBS) is an attempt to create a local multiplayer game where individuals receive information in private. The game plays similar to Resistance (card game) in the structure of the gameplay, with three crew members and a saboteur. However, in order to indicate the saboteur, we use the controller vibration in subtle ways to alert players of their status. This gives us the ability to give players private information in the way a card game can offer in a local environment. The game itself is real time, with a set of missions that need to be completed. Both the crew and the saboteur also have the ability to "trap" a zone, giving them a private notification of elements of play (whether the saboteur is present, etc). All players also have the ability to "accuse" a player in game, and if any player receives 3 accusations, the game ends. This creates a gameplay environment similar to Werewolf/Mafia.
