Morsel Squash Legend accomplished the theme of GGJ 2014 through symbolic multiplayer cooperation. The theme of "we don't see things as they are, we see them as we are" is communicated through the use of colors in order to move a gem across the level. Two players must use team work to synchronize their movements and colors to rescue the gems from the mice that have stolen them. When two foxes come together and their auras match or compliment the jewels, their auras transport them through the level and to victory. players must always watch the gems and their auras to coordinate them to hold onto the gems. The levels have an amazing postmodern abstract geometric paper theme in orange and blue. The challenge of synchronizing movement and colors creates a fast paced first class multiplayer experience.
