Family Game Night

This puzzler is a spin on a matching game where the player must build families based on the changing views of modern American families. The player can build straight couples with or without children, gay couples with or without children or single parents. We hope to expand this game in the future by adding constraints our society puts on families, which will make the game more difficult. This could include gay cards placed in a row or column where gay marriage is illegal, cards being infertile and therefore having to move to adopt spaces or other challenges faced in reality. This puzzler is simple yet carries a strong message that all kinds of families can be constructed even if there are roadblocks.
