3D2D3D Ball is an open ended game and sound Toy.
The game takes a standard webcam input stream and creates a 3D landscape using the 2D image data.
the generated low poly (64 by 64) grid enables the player(s) to manipulate objects (small Q-balls) in 3D space. any change in the cameras view makes for a new environment entirely, so use your imagination and design your own games and tricks, for instance :
- Draw a square on a piece of paper, show it to the camera, collect all balls inside it!
- Try to use your hands to move all the balls to one side!
- 2 players play together, the first person to get all the balls in his side wins!
- Any image you show the camera will be translated to 3D! Even a video on your cell phone!
