I happen to be a Kistarter for the Sportsfriends games and they have released an alpha of Johann Sebastian Joust! (Go checkout - http://gutefabrik.com/joust.html)
We can play with up to 7 Playstation Move controllers. I am slowly collecting a few. So I will bring my Mac (or 2) and we could play after the Jam is over in the atrium (or maybe we can try to play in the dark somewhere on Campus)
If you have a Move Controller (we only need the Ball controller) please bring a charged one if you want to play.
Nokia will provide a free Lumia 800 phone to every Plano location participant who codes for Windows Phone (any version). Limit 8 devices; if there are more than 8 qualified candidates, a drawing will be held. Previous Lumia winners ineligible.
There will also be a random drawing for a Nokia Premium Developer token. The prize is a $1500 value!
I am hoping that the campus construction will be finished by the time school commences. There is still a week and a half for all the new tile to be put down!
Our Global Game Jam comes at the end of the first week of classes, so all the dust should be settled by the time we are ready to start!
I really appreciate Adam and Marshall providing history and advice for participating in the Game Jam, at today's DFW Windows Phone meetup. Very useful information! I'm even more excited now than before!
Looks like Sifteo will have a physical presence a the SF GameJam and will be providing tech support for any teams wanting to use Sifteo's in the Jam - https://twitter.com/Sifteo_Dev/status/290891430690447362
You raised my awareness of this unique gaming platform and it sounds very challenging to develop a game for this platform. I dug deeper and found there are two generation of cubes that are totally incompatible from a developer perspective. Are you proposing a possible Sifteo project with the older generation platform or the latest one that you can buy now from Sifteo?

As I am coming from Fort Worth and can not leave work until after 5pm, I will be quite late. ETA is probably around 730-800pm. So if any groups have room for a +1, keep me in mind. Looking forward to getting started.
