Important Details
Hello Game Devs!
Next weekend is the global game jam, which you have all signed up for. There are a couple important things to note before the competition begins:
Our competition will start at 5:30pm Eastern time. Global game jam usually kicks off at 5pm, but UVA doesn't have parking available on weekends until 5pm Friday, so we're pushing the start back a bit. The competition will kick off in Rice Hall room 536, which is also where check-in will take place. There's a $10 fee to cover snacks for registering. Meals will not be provided, but we will have snacks available.
Parking is available in either the parking lot outside of Rice Hall or across the street near Scott Stadium. If you find the doors to Rice Hall to be locked when you arrive, please feel free to call my cell phone. Send me an email, dae5y AT virginia DOT edu and I'll add you to our mailing list and send you my phone number.
We look forward to seeing you!
