Full Participation!
I've been completely blown away by the enthusiasm the community has shown for the game jam this year! I'm not going to lie: I was expecting only a hand full of people to sign up before 3:55 on Friday, but we already have a full 30 participants, almost a week before the event even starts! Needless to say, this is great, and it's a good sign that we're going to get some great games.
However, this brings up the question of how we should handle additional people who are interested in participating. We don't have enough food to feed an indefinite number of people, but we want to accommodate as many people as we can. So, if you're interested in participating but missed the early bird rush, don't despair! We will continue to accept sign ups, and we encourage everyone who is interested to come to the Simularium at 4 on Friday. If others don't show up, then those who recently signed up will get to take their places, and we will also probably allow a few people over the 30 participant limit take part if they're willing to fend for food themselves.
Even though this is a bit of a problem, it's the sort of problem I'm very glad to have! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone is less than a week!
Do we need a Unity3D license?
...'cause I have one I can bring....
I just heard about this this morning. Is there some kind of "master plan" or are we going full anarchy gamedev mode?
:s.
