Registration Steps:
1) Click on 'My Account' on the right hand side of this page.
2) Click 'Edit' and then 'Profile'.
3) Enter your full name (or whatever name you want as your ident.)
4) Select 'University of British Columbia' as your Jam Site
5) Enter your e-mail
6) Select your skills
7) Click save at the bottom.
If you are worried about your chances (say because you're a programmer and we have lots of those right now)
8) go to the local registration site link listed higher on this page.
9) enter the same ident/full name as you put in your profile
10) answer the questions and hit submit
This questionnaire is to help us determine who we accept and who we turn away since we are capping at 30 participants and already have over 40 applicants. Thank you for your enthusiasm!
Event Details:
The entrance fee includes all the money you will need to bring for mandatory expenses - i.e. fobs, any registration fees, etc. In the notes here, any costs will be broken down so you know what you're getting from it.
Registration is $20, but each group will need to put an additional $20 Deposit down on a keyfob to access the building.
Please bring your own laptop and software.
Although internet access is available for downloading development tools, it is recommended to have one or two development tools already installed on your machine before hand to minimize losing time due to installing your required programs.
Our on site security is campus security and doors only accessible by participants and UBC Students.
