A few important details and an event schedule follow. Please let us know if you have any questions, and also, do let us know if you've decided *not* to attend as the event is filling up fast and we want to make sure to include everyone we can.
NYU GGJ Schedule:
Friday, January 29
4:00 p.m. Sign-in starts. Come to 721 Broadway, 9th floor, and let us know you're here.
5:00 Official local kickoff talk by NYU Game Center Director Frank Lantz; overview of jam logistics
5:30 Official GGJ kickoff talk by Ste Curran of Zöe Mode and the popular One Life Left podcast
6:00 Brainstorming exercise (flushes out game ideas, helps people form teams)
7:00 Groups formed and are off and running with their game development work
11:00 Building closes (those who wish to continue jamming should migrate to other venues together)
Saturday, January 30
9:00 a.m. Doors open for jammers
11:00 a.m. Teams must have their game teams and individual IDs set up on GGJ global site
noon-2 Pizza lunch provided!
11:00 p.m. Building closes
Sunday, January 31
9:00 a.m. Doors open for jammers
noon-2 Pizza lunch provided!
3:00 p.m. Jammers must upload their final game to the GGJ site
5:00 Demos of final games and vote on local awards (includes invited local IGDA community and also those orphaned for the weekend by the Jam (e.g. friends and family))
