GAME JAM STARTS TOMORROW!

Albany IGDA Global Game Jam 2010 Schedule

Friday: dinner and late-night snacks will be provided

  • 3 pm – people can start arriving, have registration, get familiar with space, mingle
  • 4 pm – Assembly Hall opens
  • 5 pm – opening ceremonies, theme announcement, team forming
  • 6 pm – planning and making games!
  • 11 pm – computer labs close
  • 12 pm – campus center closes

Saturday: breakfast will be provided, dining hall is open from 12-9pm for attendants to get lunch & dinner on their own

  • 9 am – computer labs open, campus center opens
  • 11 pm – computer labs close
  • 12 pm – campus center closes

Sunday: breakfast and lunch will be provided

  • 9 am – computer labs open, campus center opens
  • 3 pm – game submission deadline
  • 3:30 pm – game presentation
  • 5 pm – we’re out of there!

UPDATES

Just wanted to call out a few updates to the Albany Location Web Page:

  • The Event Schedule has been updated to include a list of meals which will be provided to attendees throughout the weekend.
  • A List of Freebees, and instructions on how to take advantage of them, has been added to the Unsoported Sofware section.
  • Global Game Jam 2010 t-shirts are now available on cafepress.com.
  • We added a section About the Business of the Game Industry.
  • As well as a Press list which will be updated periodically to include all coverage of the Albany location of the Global Game Jam.
