The Global Game Jam, in collaboration with GDC, is proud to present a limited number of scholarships which consist of an all access pass to the Game Developer's Conference 2016 in San Francisco, California (March 14-18, 2016).
The awards are open to any current Global Game Jam organizers, regional organizers or other volunteer affiliates. In considering the awarding of these scholarships, two criteria are used:

GGJ is the largest jam in the world. We are expected to break 25,000 participants in January 2015, as we get ready to do this for the seventh time. In honor of that milestone, here are a few things you can do to support Global Game Jam now.
I was raised in the USA and never learned a 2nd language. Now that I look back on my formative years at school I realize what a mistake that was, but that was a long time ago.
GGJ 2014 had 23,198 jammers registered in 488 jam sites located in 72 countries. 4,290 game projects were registered.

All timezones have stopped working on their games and Global Game Jam 2014 is officially over!

The first of the sites have started for GGJ 2014. The registered jam sites stand at 487 in 73 countries. Another record-breaking start for GGJ. We have come a long way with just over 50 sites in 2009! Keep in touch with us by listening to GGJ Radio, watch live streams from jam sites, share pictures on flickr, tweet with #ggj14 or submit stories and quotes to our tumblr .
