GGJ 2009 Organizers

Who are we? Game Educators and Game Developers from around the world. The leadership comprises of Susan Gold, IGDA Education SIG Chair and director of Game Program Review; Anders Højsted, founder of Great Date Games; Gorm Lai, co-founder of 3 Lives left Studio and the Nordic Game Jam; Stephen Jacobs, Professor at RIT; Ian Schreiber, educator, author and game developer; Miguel Sicart, author and professor; Zach Lehman, game developer, fundraiser and student at OSU.

The Global Game Jam is an initiative of the International Game Developers Association Education Special Interest Group.

The Global Game Jam is open to everyone.

Logo designed by Albertina Sparhult at The University of Gotland, Sweden. The final website was developed with the tremendous talents of Foaad Khosmood from UC Santa Cruz, USA. Both students graciously gave their time and skill to make the Global Game Jam stand out.

The website is now administered by Darren Torpey, who also helped design, build, and host it.
