Game: Kindle

We'd like to enjoy the time to be alone but not lonely. The dark night in the nature will make you alone, but with the firefly you won't be lonely. Suddenly a melodic poem appears, it's magic that a little light ball will lead you to chase it by typing the letters. The firefly will be lighter and dancing more frequently when you catch letters. It will become smaller and doesn't move when you miss the letter or wrong typing. This game is made by Matrix and Karen. And it'is Karen's first time to attend game jam and she put out the original idea. We thought lots of possibilities under this theme : horror, tension, life, love, heart symbol etc. And we choose the ECG ( Electrocardiography ) to create our game. To most of us, the ECG is the digital visual symbol of life and it lead by heartbeat. We alternate it to a firefly in the darkness, every jump like a ECG curve. All player needs to do is type the letter of poem ( We choose Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe).
