Game: Heartbreaker
In a world where pension contributions threaten the future, a young man (no name yet) just found a solution.
You are a little boy (still no name) and you have to yell in a mike to cause old people heart attacks. You have to yell behind and close enough otherwise the old man/woman will run after you and beat you. Game will stop provided that you kill everybody. In this demo, each person needs three heart attacks to die. You'll die if angry old men/women touch you too much. Angry people calm down if you leave the room. Colored square above a door indicates in which room the door leads. You have to yell at the appropriate level depending on the person. Please refer to the status bar under the mike level vu-meter viewable once you are close enough to a person (same level for everyone in this demo).

Diversifiers
Stay Inside The Box: The whole game takes place in just one screen, no scrolling or changing screens in any way is allowed.
No cheating (please): The game system relies on willing player participation to enforce the rules of the game world (e.g., hold your breath, close your eyes, etc.).
Bigger Picture: The game touches on a political, environmental or social issue.
Executable or Installer
1- Download HB.zip
2- Start setup.exe
3- Program will install XNA 4.0 and .NET 4.0 for you if necessary
4- Launch the game HeartBreaker with the shortcut in the Program Panel
note : a mike is required for now on, please edit the Settings.ini and/or calibrate your mike
Commands :
left/right, up to open a door, yell close enough and behind old people. Escape to close, Enter to re-play if you win.
