A couple suggestions...
Hey there,
Liked your idea, but I would suggest a couple tweaks to gameplay:
* The serpent speed is too close to the ships, making it hard to run away from it without going very far out of your way
* The serpent bound box is too big, making it hard to figure out when you will collide with it
* The objective is a little obscure, so I would suggest you made it a little more obvious... Took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to be doing
* Since the game is pretty much endless, getting absurdly high scores is only a matter of spending (quite possibly boring) time on the game, which makes it broken on the long run... Would suggest there was some sort of a game over, possibly if you got captured more than three times by the serpent
* Different kinds of enemies would be welcome :D
Furthermore, the art could use a bit more work... I think it is lacking for a game with two graphical artists
How much experience did you guys have on game development prior to the event?
