Short Introduction:
Platformer with time travel elements.
Platform/System:
Web standard (Html5, Java, JavaScript, Flash)
Platform note:
Flash
Brief Play Description:

Phoenix is a 2D sidescrolling action-platformer that centers around the player's ability to manipulate time to solve puzzles and defeat enemies. The player can jump between the past and the future, which changes both the world as well as the player themselves.

This ability to jump between past and future allows the player to see the continuity and connectivity of time. This is what our group took from this year's theme, the Ouroboros, which in essence speaks to the cyclic nature of time. The Ouroboros also influenced our decision to set the game in Egypt, as well as the visual design of the main character and a snake-like enemy.
