Game Information

Short Introduction:

At Magnum Opus players are Master Alchemists in search of knowledge and the secret of immortality. You must compete with opponents to acquire the three alchemical principles and fulfill your greatest work, the Philosopher's Stone.

Platform/System:

non-digital (board game, card game, physical game, etc.)

Brief Play Description:

Magnum Opus is played over three eras; each era is divided into three rounds of competition for alchemical elements and gold. At the end of each age players score points. After the final sum that has accumulated the most knowledge is declared the Grand Master Alchemist.

The players use money cards (two sets of cards from 1 to 4, a 5 and a 6) to battle in auction for Salt, Mercury, Sulfur, and gold. Players can also use gold to buy more valuable money cards, and try to combine the alchemical principles do create a Philosopher's Stone.

Parabéns arthur pela iniciativa, acho que vale a pena investir na arte do tabuleiro, a casa oito, poderia ser na cabeça da cobra. Quero ler com mais calma as regras, mas achei bem legal a idéia. Totalmente a ver com o tema! Eu sempre achei que enxofre era verde :P Parabéns novamente.
