Great concept, good execution
This is a really great little twist on tower defense games. With some gameplay tweaking and a bit of scaling and balance, I think this could be something approaching PvZ quality for sure. Great!
nice, very nice =]
i really enjoyed the concept , the simplistic visual and the easygoing gameplay.
spent some good time playing it here, hehe =]
very nice, keep up the good work .
Balancing
I'm glad that people are enjoying the game. I guess we did ramp the difficulty too much, but I think the concept was really good. I guess I was wrong to try to push the difficulty curve up that high.
Re: Balancing
It wouldn't be so bad if we had some sort of objective tracking. Perhaps stages, grow 5 trees, protect 10 seeds, destroy 20 attackers, that kind of stuff. I'd still like to complete the game, give it some more content. Do you think you would want to code for that? I'll create some more critters and I'm sure the other guys would love to do more. I think we talked about it. We can set up a chat session on Skype.
A nice, complete little game...
Elegant! I always like games where you need to keep a few plates spinning, so to speak. Plus, a sun firing laser beams tends to be cool in any setting!
Thank you all!
Thank you all for playing our game. We had a blast making the game. I felt that we did a good job scoping the game to be made and polished within 48 hours. Enjoy!
Wonderful game in 48h
Nigh perfect! Just add some endgame, maybe win condition after enough trees (or then you already have it and I just couldn't make it that far).
Great game
Tradeoff, Tradeoff, Tradeoff. So fun!
An excellent title from Team Sol Train
I thought this game was really well executed. The music and sounds matched the style and the gameplay was engaging. My only criticism was it got quite hard quite quickly, but that would be easy to fix. I especially liked that the sun was the one constant resource and the web of resources that arose from it.
