If you're on Windows,

1. Unzip Dodopult-1.2.zip.
2. Open Package\release\Dodopult
3. Click on Dodopult.exe
4. Play!

If you're on Linux,

1. Install Pyglet (Ubuntu: install the python-pyglet package)
2. unzip Dodopult-1.2.zip
3. cd Package/src/Dodopult/
4. python dodo.py

If you're on a Mac, try the instructions for Linux. The Mac version of Pyglet is available from http://www.pyglet.org/download.html.
