Issue fixed
We now compiled the game in release mode, so now it should work okay. We also made minor improvements to space ship controls to make the game a bit easier. =)
Thanks for bug reports.
Br, Mikko
We will test and fix it asap
Thanks for testing and reporting this bug. We did not have any PC without Visual Studio :D
Br,
Mika
The Game needs Visual Studio
Hi,
I installed the redistributable, but it didn't help, so I figured I'd try installing Visual Studio Express to see if that helps, and it did. I googled the error I got a bit, and I found some indication that it could be that the game has been compiled in debug mode instead of release mode. You should check that. I think most people aren't willing to install Visual Studio to play the game. :-P
The Game needs Visual Studio runtime libraries.
Unfortunately we could have enought time to test the game with different PC configurations, so we didn't realize that Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) is needed to be installed on the computer before running the game. For that reason we didn't noticed to inform that in installation notes.
You can download Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) from link: http://www.microsoft.com/DOWNLOADS/details.aspx?FamilyID=a5c84275-3b97-4...
Apologies for incomplete installation notes.
Br,
Mikko
Doesn't work for me
I can't seem to be able to run the game. Windows XP says (in Finnish): "Sovelluksen käynnistäminen epäonnistui, koska sovelluksen kokoonpano on viallinen." ("the application's assembly is invalid", or something like that in English)
