The game runs on Löve engine so the source code is not compiled, but run as a script, so it comes with Löve engine. Use run.bat to run the game. If it doesn't work, change fullscreen from conf.lua to false.
If you only get a white screen, it is possible your video card/drivers don't support non-power-of-two textures.
Use arrow keys and space bar. And your instincts.
