1-4 players with Xbox controllers play on the same screen. You control a viking, and can move in every direction using the analog stick. When you stand still near a pile of dirt, your viking will begin digging up a mushroom. If you succeed (takes 2 seconds), you are awarded a point. Sometimes when you collect a mushroom, you will go into enrage. In this state (which lasts a short period of time) you cannot collect mushrooms, but if you bump into other players, you will knock them over, forcing them to drop 50% of their collected mushrooms on the ground, and awarding you with points. The primary mechanic is faking enrage, which is activated by pressing 'A'. In this state (which lasts shorter than the real enrage) you cannot run through trees or knock down players, but you might scare the other players away from the mushrooms you want.
The donkey is wandering around on its own, eating mushrooms. If it eats a bad 'shroom, it enrages, and chases down players - so if you see one: RUN!

When any player has reached the point limit of 25, the round ends.
